Starbucks has announced that it will be doing what was unthinkable when it launched in the U.S. in 1971 and in China in 1999 -- selling instant coffee.
The company plans to triple the number of its stores in China by 2015 to 1,500, and part of that scheme is to offer instant coffee packets.
Since a Starbucks hovers on just about every corner of Shanghai, the company is looking to expand in China?s second- and third-tier cities.read more
